"Show and Tell Friday" was created by Kelli at There's No Place Like Home. Each week she invites us to share something special. Today I have a music box given to my daughter by my mother.
It is a beautiful carousel horse music box that plays "Somewhere In Time". It reminds me of the good times we had together with my dad who is no longer with us. When I hear the music I'm reminded of my daughter when she was 3 years old asking my dad to wind it up for her over and over again! It's a sweet song and brings back sweet memories!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

And it was dad's favorite movie. What a wonderful heirloom to have. :) xoxo
It's your favorite movie too, isn't it? xoxoxo
Thanks for sharing your daughter's treasure with us today. My Dad gave me a very simular one when I was a little girl. I still have it, but the screw stripped that made my horse go round and round. Seeing your show and tell has broght back found memories for me.
I used to have one exactly the same... from Watkins? It was a hostess gift, and had a lamp and snowglobe to match!
thanks ofr reminding me!
That is a special treasure...I have to share this because it made me think of it..our granddaughter - 3, we gave her a play dough "squisher thing". You had to put a little dough in and push down for it to come out in a shape. It took her a few minutes but we were pleased when she did it. Then she kept saying "Again?"
It was so precious..just like your story.
What a treasure...and great memories...cherish it...
Blessings,
Susie
