Harvest Festival 2008!

We had a great time at the Harvest Festival - it was the perfect opportunity to introduce our new company to the community and to "plant seeds" for the upcoming holidays! We sold a lot of soap, diffusers and gift buckets.  Thank you to everyone for supporting us!

Even though the morning started out foggy, it ended up being a beautiful day!  Here we are on the left (tan booth) - many locals came by to check out the goods!

It's another beautiful sunny day:)  I love it when the fog rolls in early each morning, but can't wait for the sun to shine!   Max doesn't seem to mind either....

Hello again!

Boxes Boxes Boxes

We're nearly done making soap for the Harvest Festival.  I continue to wrap each day as our wooden crates are filled with the aroma of wonderful scents!  Here are pictures of work in progress, including a little pail with goodies I hope will sell!

Taking Inventory

Ahhh, the beginning  of another week!  Everyone's off to work and school...the house is mine once again.  

Max, our Airedale Terrier puppy reminds me that I'm not alone. 

 

There's much work to be done today.  Room mom duties beckon, emails about Sunday School curriculum arrive and a pile of dirty dishes waits for me in the kitchen sink.  The sun is shining brightly today and it puts a smile on my face.

About a year ago my husband and I decided to venture away from commercial gift giving at Christmas time and decided to make something ourselves.

Today, we're just 13 days away from selling our homemade soap at the local Harvest Festival here in Lunada Bay and we're very excited!

My hands are tired from wrapping all day, but the aroma of essential oils keeps me going as we increase our inventory for September 28th.   Soaps, diffusers and gift buckets will be everything we have to offer.  We're off and running.....
